a one week delay can make a game go from 100 % sure 5 million seller to a semi-flop though I'm sure had an impact it isnt as big as people claim.
If it sold that bad in October just because of a 1 week delay then that means it wasnt ever going to be "blockbuster" in the first place.
LBP is having very average sales for I dont now what reason.Pretty weird.
1 year advance for 360 with no big games at launch and a poor xbox brand = PS3 huffing and puffiig to not go the way of the gamecube though they had TOTAL DOMINANCE for more than 10 years.
1 year advance for 720 with Gears 3 (Gears 2 sold 2.1 million on day 1 ,just imagine the hysteria when Gears 3 comes out) and a way way stronger brand = ............. I actually hope it never happens.Competition is good.

Gears 2 is graphically the most impressive game this year.
And yes unreal engine games look PS2 games when theyre on the PS3 (check out Bioshock for instance).

MSFT should launch Gears 3 with the 720 one year before the competition (Sony) and they'll kill the PS4 before it even comes out.

When I was saying "weird" it was because some games are synonymous with a brand : like Final Fantasy and Playstation , In my opinion its the same with Gears and Xbox (and yes a bit of the "macho" image too)
